The Botanical Garden in Pondicherry opened in 1826 that lies at the far western end of the old Tamil Town. It was designed in the formal French style. Almost 1500 exotic varieties of trees, flower beds, gravel walks and fountains makes this beautiful garden.
AurovilleAuroville is called �the City of Dawn located in northwest of Pondicherry. Sacred Heart ChurchThe South Boulevard has sacred Heart Church in brown and white and nearby peaceful, extensive Botanical Gardens was opened in 1740.
