From an event perspective there are 3 important festivals that are celebrated in Shirdi.

1. Ram Navami

2. Guru Purnima

3. Dusshera

Ram Navami comes in March/April. Guru Purnima is celeberated in July and Dusshera generally is celebrated in Oct.

During these period Shirdi has more devotees. You will be able to enjoy more events and ofcourse with more devotees.

Best Season

The weather in Shirdi is generally pleasant. Between Mid Jun – Oct is a rainy season. It does not rain too much in Shirdi and heat is less in this season. From a temperature perspective this is best period. After Oct winter season start (however it has shifted in last few years). Oct and Nov are pleasant. The min temperature goes to 7-9 degree Celsius (45 – 48 degree Fahrenheit).

The winter season finish in Feb and temperature start increasing in March. Even March and April weather is not very hot. Only in May-Jun it can be bit hot and when Monsoon reaches Shirdi – drizzling and breeze make it pleasant.

All days are great! Thursday has special significance.
