The ferry to monument leave from two locations in Newyork and in New Jersey: Battery Park, at the southern tip of Manhattan in New York City Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. Ticket is for Ferry. Ticket price is based on ferry location. |

You only need to buy 1 ticket. 1 ticket provide access to both Liberty and Ellis Island. Pedastal access is included. To go to Statue of Liberty crown - you need to buy seperate ticket. Also note that there are limited number of tourist go to Crown. So Crown ticket run out on many days. You should buy ticket 1 day in advance to ensure you can visit both crown. There is seperate Ellis Hospital tour. You can get 1 more ticket to see Ellis hospital. |

If you taking ferry from Liberty state park - you can drive and park easily. There is some public transport option. But it is better to drive to Liberty island. |
How much is Ferry wait time |

During peak days and time - it can take upto 90 minutes to board a ferry. There are big queues and every one has to go thru airport kind of security. |
